Group Leader: Terry Schau, schauterry(at)
Group Name: Our Lady of the Annunciation FNE Group
Group Colors: Royal Blue and Gold

Our Lady of the Annunciation:
“Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done to me according to thy word.” Just as Mary chose to follow God’s will, so too do we strive to do the same. We chose this name to honor our Blessed Mother, Mary, in all her perfection. This name will also serve as a constant reminder of one of the reasons the group exists, that is, to help those involved live holy lives in accordance with His divine will.

Royal Blue and Gold:
We’ve chosen royal blue and gold. Royal blue because it is the color of royalty often used to welcome a king, which is what we hope to be doing for our boys, preparing them for His return. Royal blue is also the color often depicted on Our Lady. The gold symbolizes what is precious and majestic, namely God Himself.

Q. What sections will you be offering upon start up?
A. We are planning on having a boys’ Timber Wolf Den and possibly a boys’ Otter Lodge.

Q. How did you hear about FNE and why did you choose to join?
A. We learned of the FNE as a result of internet searching by our Pastor for youth organizations that might serve our Parish. We believe that the FNE will provide for the young members of our Parish a plan for holiness, focusing on their spiritual and physical development as a means for attaining sanctity.
